Default What would you like to see as your epitaph…???

What would you like to see as your epitaph…???

This may sound quite morbid… but, I don’t see it that way… An epitaph is a very brief summary of someone’s life… so, if we know what we would like our epitaph to be… we also know what we want our life to stand for… what our values are… and how we will conduct ourselves for the rest of our life…

I would like mine to read something like this, “Here lies a guy who did not win every battle… but, he never quit…”

What about you...???

My mom once sat down and wrote out a bunch of funny epitaphs. A few that I remember:

"I told you I was sick"
"Mother told me there would be days like this"
"Where's the light?"
"Can someone hand me a sandwich?"

Anyway, funny stuff. I haven't thought much about what I would want. Good question though.

"Erin's reading was unbelievably insightful. In just 20 minutes she helped me sort through 4 major areas of my life that I've been struggling with in therapy for more than 8 years! I was stunned. I'm truly amazed at her abilities, and I am so thankful I found her when I did." - Jeanette in Tulsa, OK

Born >>> Raised Hell >>> Died

Seriously though, probably just a brief list of my accomplishments in life.

"He was so sure reality wouldn't continue after he died...he never did write an epitaph" - Donated by Philip Nelson's slightly more sensible Wife.

It was placed in "Personal Effectiveness" because it was meant to be an exercise in introspection... that is, a way of describing how you want your life to be about...

If you don't know what your life will be all about... how can you ever hope to achieve what you want to do with it...

Glenn Turner used to say, "People will spend more time planning a two week vacation than they will planning all their life..." I believe that the guy had a few problems with the law and is currently doing five to ten in the pen... but, still, he had a point when he said that...

Yeah I sort of hijacked Shamou's thread when I responded with funny stuff. Sorry Shamou!

Mayb something like this:

False prophets rejoice, your illusionary bubbles are now less exposed - for a while at least...
