Default 30 Day Trial Multitasking?

So I signed up here previously, and though I'm not as active as I am on some other forums, I'd appreciate some advice on my current predicament.

First, some good news: I'm on day 22 of my 30 day trial to cut down on my computer time (until 5 PM my time), and though there's more TV watching to pass the time that I'm comfortable with, I'm very pleased with the overall results so far.

That being said, I'm debating what to do for my next 30 day challenge. Out of the many potential challenges I've considered, the two ones I want to pursue the most are:

A. Work on fighting that bitter beast called procrastination. This involves following the unique Unschedule idea in the book The Now Habit as well as applying other ideas from it.

B. Work on establishing a connection once again with drawing, something that once was very fun but now feels like a chore to even consider. Besides that, I'd be following the exercises in a book Coaching The Artist Within, because they look interesting and I'd like to try them.

Both of these problems of mine have caused me some major pain and I'm eager to get swinging. However, I'm not sure how I can handle not doing one of these things while I campaign on the other (at least for 30 days). My question is two-fold.

1. In your opinion, can you effectively "multitask" by doing two 30 day trials at once, and if so, how?
2. If not, what do you think I could be able to do to stay on track on one of the trials and not let the other problem get to me during it?

I'm not sure if I phrased that very well, so I can clear up any problems you may have understanding what I'm trying to get across. Any information would be helpful.

What is your overall goal? To have fun? Make money? Build skills?

I not sure what you mean. Are you talking about a life goal or something?

Use A to stop procrastinating on B!

Heh. I like the cut of your jib. After some thought, I've decided to work on A after all and get B later. I planned to try some postive self-talk as well, so I suppose I can use that to keep on track.

I'm currently doing two different 30 day projects, so it is very possible! Like Kaspian said, a good idea is to make your two 30 day projects work together. For me, I'm doing something physical and something mental, which helps to create balance, so that I'm not focusing on one thing too much and burning out, which always seems to be my problem.

Hmmm. I suppose I'm concerned with being overwhelmed, but it's worth a shot. I was planning to include more outdoor activities during my next trial, so I guess I can combo drawing with that. Five more days until this current trial is finished...I'm almost there!
