- Coheed & Cambria - "Welcome Home" - Shpongle - anything they've ever done, but specifically "Around the World in a Tea Daze" and "Once Upon the Sea of Blissful Awareness" - Tool - any song they've ever done, but specifically anything off of "Lateralus" ("Parabola" is my most inspiring song EVER) - Loreena McKennitt - ANYTHING (she has a new album coming out after a 10-year silence! I'm so excited - Godspeed You! Black Emperor's "East Hastings" and "The Dead Flag Blues" - Enigma's "Push the Limits", "Silence Must Be Heard" and "Endless Quest" - Delerium's "Silence", "Forgotten Worlds", "Truly", "Lamentation", and "Twilight" - A Silver Mt. Zion's "Broken Chords Can Sing a Little", "Ring Them Bells (Freedom Has Come & Gone)" and "Sit in the Middle of Three Galloping Dogs" So sad, but so inspiring. these are the most inspiring, I suppose... I do have a lot of music, lol... |

I actually listen to Midnight Syndicate's songs that have a march-style beat to them, like City of Sails or Gates of Delirium. It is an odd choice for motivation, but it reminds me of where I've been and where I'm gearing to go.

Van Morrison's Poetic Champion Compose - the entire album chronicles a life's journey to enlightement. I love this album it is like reading a self-help book. Here is a sample of the albums progression: The mystery I forgot that love exisited Give me my rapture today Did you get healed? This album makes me hopeful. Van has a lot of albums like this one, Enlightenment is a great one also. Cheers, |

see I think it all depends on the mood you're in sometimes thing need to be done slowly... where something like classical is good music to listen to. Then there's times where you want to work really quickly on things... in this case I enjoy electronica the best thing to do... if you don't have music is check out online radio stations like di.fm and shoutcast.com anyway... that's my 2 cents. |

Return to innocence - Enigma Hero - Mariah Carey 3 little birds - Bob Marley You know my name - Chris Connel [New James Bond] Nobody does it better - Warren G, Nate Dogg [Rap, RnB, G-Funk] Alexandra leaving - Leonard Cohen [I don't know if you will find this one motivational; but if you are losing the love of your life, the song's message is to say goodbye...] I can't add 2Pac since people don't like his music like I like it. |

Hi! I like a lot of the music from Solitudes. A lot of it is kind of New Age, but it's mixed with nature sounds and can be very relaxing. Off the top of my head www.solitudes.com Chris |

Pendulum - Slam (anything by pendulum). Scott Brown - Bad Boy Any Bonkers collection. Actually most drum and bass / hardcore tracks get me pumped to do something. I listen to stuff like that before I go running. If you aren't familiar with electronic music, these are songs with a very fast BPM I'm talking about here. Like, twice as fast as the music you probably listen to (unless you like jazz or something like that). I wish I could listen to it while I was running, but I find it hard to beat-breathe when I've got music playing in the background. Edit: Oh, and Rage Against the Machine. |
