| YouTube - Flobots - Handlebars (with Lyrics) Not sure how to add youtube videos so here's the link to Flobots - Handlebars. A sad song but the message motivates me to keep struggling. |

I'm sorry I won't give you songs of a title, but I have a good article on motivation: Motivation for Smart People (Sans Chest Pounding) It explains why emotional motivation(like from music) is not the best. |

Disturbed- Indestructible (a proper Power tune!!) Disturbed- I'm Alive Training Montage from Rocky IV (my favourite) Eye of the Tiger Chris Rea- You Can Go Your Own Way Rotersand- DTL (Dare To Live) (reminds me of Steve To be honest I don't listen to that much motivational music on a regular basis (except the training montage) but those are my favourites. |

Also - 10k Fists by Disturbed. That's when I'm gearing up for justice of some kind. I have a court-type thing I have to do tomorrow and I'm going to be blasting that until I win. I also like: Gods of War - Manowar Time Stands Still (At The Iron Hill) - Blind Guardian October Sky - Edenbridge and practically everything off of the Primo Victoria album by Sabaton Yeah, I'm a metalhead It must be my inner Klingon warrior chick... something about this music raises my energy and gets me ready to go into battle for my very life... which is every day we're alive Hell yeah! | |

Here are some amazing songs that inspire me: YouTube - blind melon acoustic "change" YouTube - Ukulele weeps by Jake Shimabukuro YouTube - Josh Woodward: Afterglow YouTube - Tegan and Sara "Here I Am" YouTube - on the brightside official music video YouTube - Straylight Run - "Existentialism on Prom Night" Victory Records YouTube - Joni Mitchell-California (BBC) YouTube - Damien Rice - Cold Water YouTube - Girls - "Lust For Life" (official video) YouTube - Nick Drake - My Sugar So Sweet YouTube - Lady Gaga Telephone YouTube - walk with me- bedlight for blue eyes Lots of these are live or covers - very intentional. They are specifically the versions that move me. I find recently, I am seeking out songs that are not necessarily uplifting. Not exactly depressing, but not cheery. These are the kinds of songs I absolutely love, and therefore a seemingly very depressing song can actually lift me up and keep me from the edge. One good example is Nick Drake's Black Eyed Dog. Here: YouTube - Nick Drake- Black Eyed Dog |
