| I enjoyed Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich. The title suggests it's simply a "get rich" guide, but it's so much more. |

| If you want the grand-daddy of them all, you should get, "Benjamin Franklin's Poor Richard's Almanac" Ben was the first to write about self-help... so you can't get any any "older" writings or books than that... . |

| Why not go all the way to the Greeks with some Plato or Aristotle? They really do help you understand human life more clearly and although they're technically philosophy, I think you can really use the knowledge to improve yourself.

| James Allen and his book As A Man Thinketh is on my list of books for anyone to read. I periodically re-read the book and always experience an increase in clarity as a result. |

| I got my start with the old Wayne Dyer books: Your Erroneous Zones How to be a No-Limit Person The Sky's the Limit Haven't looked at them for a long, long time... they might be a little dated now, but they sure lit a fire under me. I found him very inspiring (but I never enjoyed listening to him speak.) |

| The Greatest Salesman in the World - ancient now (only about 1968 if I remember correctly) but a highly recommended read! I don't know if it's strictly self-help, in that the language is now what you would expect from that kind of book, but it was intended to get people thinking about how to fulfil their destiny.

| a MUST READ: The Magic Story by Frederick Van Rensselaer Dey. It is a story made in two parts, "How The Magic Story was Found" and "The Magic Story". Don't let those titles fool you...the first part is just as important as the second part. James Allen's As A Man Thinketh is a book will never put down. Classic and Timeless. Enjoy! |
