Approachable. But then that's still sorta passive. Yet it's a commonly used and understood word in this context.

A word that evokes a sense of action on your part rather than just sitting around being accesible...hmmm? I will have to think about that more. I see what you mean...not dynamic enough!

I looked on dictionary.com, and found this one. Not exactly right, but fun:

Patulous

c. bearing the flowers loose or dispersed, as a peduncle.

I like the bearing flowers loose and dispersed part.

I like that one -- it is dynamic! but I'd also like to include the sense of unfolding, enflowering, opening up, yielding. It's a lot to ask of a word, I realize.
