Question Speed Reading

This question is for people who successfully use speed reading. I've been practicing speed reading after reading "Breakthrough Rapid Reading" (in practicing I mean that I USE the technique, after I had developed it to a certain level through past training). I am at 500 words per minute.

My question is - if you are practicing speed reading, how do you blink? What are your blinking habits? Are you relaxed enough to blink while speed reading? It's important for your eyes to blink naturally, but I don't seem to blink almost at all. I feel a reluctancy to blink, perhaps stemming from feeling that blinking will slow me down more than turning pages.

Also - at what stage did you start seeing more than one line at once? I am currently only able to read one line at a time while also reading some of the lines in reverse order, something that helps me go faster because there is no slack while getting your focus back to the start of the next line.

Cheers,

Matt
