| Do any of you out there keep journals? If so, is it a paper journal or a digital one? Do you ever feel conflicted between keeping a paper one as well as a digital one? I do! I have been trying to come up with a way to unite the two. Have any of you found a way to do so? I have been using the trial version of a diary/journal software called: The Journal 4, by David RM Software I like it really well, so far. The calendar feature makes it quick to hop around between entries, and the search function works well. There's a timer for free writes if you want. It's a very well thought-out program. However, before I take the plunge and buy a copy, I wanted to ask if any folks here had suggestions about journaling software. Thanks! Tui

Currently I'm using a software called "Essential PM" ; it's great to work with, has a multiple time frames feature (put more than one activity on the same time), categories based notes and more. Also, the Microsoft's OneNote is an excellent one. I use it to write long articles and keep notes for school.

I seconded OneNote ... once you get to use it you simply can not live without it... i use to write journals, write to do lists and to write notes about everything such as 1. searching results (for my technical studies) 2. journals 3. monthly challenge tracking (list of activities for every week) 4. Notes about me... lessons i learned 5. things i need to remember to buy for the summer course and much much more

I felt there's no need to buy any software in regards to keeping journals. There are so many journals software out there like wordpress, livejournal, blogger.com and many more. even if you want a private blog, you can just use the above one, they can customize it for you. don't waste your money.

I use something called iDailyDiary. It seems to work pretty well, mostly because it's fast and efficient. And it's free. Has a password protect and a few other nice features. I wouldn't ever do it on paper, my hand writing is sloppy and I can type way faster.
