| If you’re like me, you’ve got crazy ideas coming into your head at all hours. The problem… There’s So MUCH coming at us, it’s easy to lose track of those golden nuggets. Here’s an Easy-Success-System for keeping track of them. Plus, your creativity will double. First of all--The moment you get an idea; write it down. Make a list including the idea in 1-3 sentences and at least 5 things you will need to do to make it happen. Don’t worry about the order or listing everything. Just get it down on paper: YES PAPER! I’m a fan of using word documents just like you. But for this, a 3*5 card is the best. Do not rely on your memory or trick yourself into believing you’ll write it down later. You’ll lose it, and you might as well just take several hundred dollars and throw it in the street. Memory is a weak servant. It’s important to create a paper prison to keep your ideas in. Paper is cheap and can be thrown away. But, you can house your ideas there for ever. Create an idea file. A shoebox or rubber band to hold your 3*5s together is perfect. Review your reservoir of ideas at least once a month. As long as it has any merit whatsoever, hang on to it. Finally… The more outrageous the better! Remember what Albert Einstein tells us: “If at first your idea does not sound absurd, there is no hope for it.” Put this Easy-Success-System to work for you. You’ll quickly have a treasure trove of creative ideas. All you’ll have to do is decide is which one you’ll cash in on next! Respectfully: -Tom Johns

| Great tip Tom. Usually, I'm writing down all my ideas. But this afternoon, I went out to a grocery shop across the street and on the way out I had an idea. I didn't have my little book I use for writing stuff down. Of course I thought "will write down when I get back". Of course I forgot what was the idea, except for the fleeting memory that I indeed has some worthwhile thought. I was retracing my thinking to remember it while coming back to my desk and thinking, "what a wonderfull idea for a post about writing down one's ideas and how it helps creativity". Then I open up the forum - BOOM! Your post is at the top. Talk about intention manifestation.

| You nailed it Tom. Writing impressions down is so important. If I don't write something down its amazing how quickly I can forget it.
