| Update ( a bit late but better than last time) : 1. Get 5 new people in my business to get to the next level - FAILED 2. Go to bed straight away when I get in from work (instead of going on laptop for 1 - 2 hours & being tired & ratty next day!) - PARTIAL SUCCESS 3. Eat healthy & sensible amounts, cutting down on 'treats' in evening, drinking more water - PARTIAL SUCCESS 4. Get house ready & put 'onto market' - SUCCESS 5. Sort out desk and keep it tidy - PARTIAL SUCCESS 6. Keep house spotless for viewings (after no. 4) - SUCCESS (SO FAR) 7. Lose 7 lbs - FAILED 8. Go to netball every week and improve - SUCCESS 9. Post on my blog every week - FAILED 10. Post progress updates on here every weekend - PARTIAL SUCCESS Not brilliant again. A bit better than the previous 2 weeks, but could still be better. How about anyone else???

Result: Gotten better Be ready to give my first MCAD exam by the end of June/early July. Result: Not there yet...looks like this will be delayed due to other projects that came up Get my body fat down to closer to 10% (I think its now 15%) - Lift weight thrice a week and cardio thrice a week. Result: I havent checked my body fat yet but can see myself getting leaner. Meditate everyday. Result: I have stuck to it most days but not everyday. |

1 - I dropped this one in favor of more yard work. 2 - Yes, over 10 hours per week for weeks 3 & 4. 3 - Yes, both weeks. 4 - Week 3: Flawless. Week 4: All but two, but those were a signal to address my frustration with a challenging horn student. 5 - Week 3: All but one. Week 4: Bingo! 6 - Both weeks: All but 2. Bonuses: For July, I was planning to add keeping a time log, finish knitting the turquoise sweater I've been working on, and switch to a Dvorak keyboard layout, but these all got started (or completed) this month. Time Log: Consistent since June 19th. Sweater: Done Learning to Type on a Dvorak Keyboard: Though I'm still slow, it's getting faster and beginning to feel more natural. Overall, not bad. | 1- continue to rise earlier to finish (i hope...) at 5:30am by the end of june (currently 8:30-10:00 ) week 1 (half week for this one) (01/06 to 03/06) average : 8:57 week 2 (04/06 to 10/06) average : 9:02 week 3 (11/06 to 17/06) average : 9:27 week 4 (18/06 to 24/06) average : 8:21 week 5 (25/06 to 30/06) average : 8:17 month average : 8:49 so i failed the good thing is now i'm nearer the down limit of my estimation 8:30 2- re exercise at least 3 times/week (may was a lazy month for me..) Ok 3- increase my daily time spent on revigoring my maths skills (4 hours/day, 5 day/week at the end i hope...) Failed 4- regain a good grasp on c++, try some funny language (rebol or ruby i haven't decided yet..) partial, i just toyed a bit with rebol/ruby, but very shallowly, and no c++ at all this was a good experience it cleared very much many things for me, in fact there is a great gap between what you think and what is real.. and this experiment opened my eyes.. i'm ready for next month challenge ! kisses bye

| End of month-review: 1. I've cleaned my house and bedroom good. I want to organize my stuff one thing at a time to help me keep it that way when my willpower is low. SUCCESS 2. I am working on renovating a snowmobile, but can't seem to finish it. I want this done in June also. FAILED 3. I will renew my wardrobe, throwing all stuff out that I don't use anymore and buying new clothes. FAILED (ran out of $$) 4. I will manage to make a small workspace for my hobbies, that way I will keep the hobby-related clutter out of my bedroom. There shall be a small table with clamps, small drawers etc. SUCCESS 5. I will stop smoking (period this time). PARTIAL SUCCESS I've stopped a couple of times this month, and I feel like I'm ready for not smoking at all in July 6. I will try my best to become an early riser (I'm tired of waking up 15 minutes before work). FAILED (but I tend to wake up early when not smoking. This one I will transfer to July) 7. I will work out much more often. SUCCESS 8. I will begin journaling. By this I mean writing down my goals and writing down progress. FAILED 9. I will eat less and more healthy food (expensive in Greenland). SUCCESS 10. I will read a minimum of 3 books in June. SUCCESS 4 books done this month So. Not counting in the partial successes, I've accomplished 50% of my goals. That's not much, BUT it's much much more than I would have if I hadn't joined the June challenge. July challenge here I come! -Jan
