Default Too much enthusiasm? Or maybe too little?

So, yesterday I made a looong ToDo list for myself and lists about my desires and fears. And now I'm pretty enthusiastic to work on that ToDo list.
But it would almost seem as if I am too enthusiastic. I now have so many things I want to do, and ofcourse I want to do them all at thesame time and finish them yesterday.
So I start with one item, spend some time on it but not really getting anywhere, and decide to go for another item on my list, at which point I get in conflict wheter or not I should finish the first item anyway.
Eventually, I'm getting annoyed at not being able to decide and not having accomplished anything, and my motivation goes straight down the drain, so far for the todo list..

Now what am I missing here? Is it that I am to enthusiastic on wanting to take on the whole list at once, or maybe I let myself get disctracted easily as soon as it doesn't go as well as I hoped?
Help!

The quick answer is yes

Tackling too many things at a go without being able to finish any of them is enough to deflate anyone's energy, don't you think?

The trick that's worked for me is just to go after the littlest tasks in the list, and finish them off one by one. You've got to give yourself those little 'victory hits', and the rush you get from them will snowball your growing enthusiasm.

basically, you need to split the tasks to few "mini" task
try to accomplish each mini task individually, the success of finish mini task will lead you to the success of finish the whole task

good luck
