Jose Silva, Silva UltraMind Method : Has Anyone ever Used any of his Programs?

I'm curious if anyone on the forums has used any of Jose Silva's programs?

Gidday, A long time ago I read a book/course from Silva, and at about the same time, I used a lot of same and similiar methods from a course I did called Alpha Dynamics (based on alpha brain waves, and a book/course by Alexander Everett, called 'The Power of Alpha Thinking - Miracle of the Mind'). I met people who had done the Silva course and who really liked it, and I remember finding it funny that there was kind of a rivalry between the two courses, as they were really alike (reminds me of the battles that spring up between Reiki groups and teachers...sigh). Anyway, I often look back and think how amasing the teachings were, and how profound. A lot of what I learned has carried through and been integrated into my present beliefs and thinking. I ended up meeting Alexander Everett, who was incredible, and who gave away millions, starting from scratch, to demonstrate his beliefs and become a millionaire again. I think his and Silva's intentions were pure, and thus, so was their knowledge, insight and teaching. I got and saw a lot of awesome results from the course. However, I saw it was like any teachings...I really gave it 100%, but noticed a lot of people never actually used, or applied what they had learned, and rather than accept the responsibility for their choice, would blame the course. You know, talking about this reminds me of some of the mind blowing stuff during the course, that everyone was proven to be capable of, if they were in the right 'alpha' state. I think a lot of people learn to spend too much time worrying, the 'beta' state. Each course was an all round, totally complete experience, and I recommend them, even from the books. A guy named Lyle Watson had some amasing books published at the time as well...Supernature and Gifts of Unknown Things and Lifetide (not courses). Psychic Discoveries behind the Iron Curtain was another interesting book from the era too. Its kind of like weight training, there is some new amasing stuff, but some old amasing stuff too. Squats and deadlifts are still some of the most result producing exercises today.

I'm surprised I have not read any posts on this site about the The Silva Method written by Jose Silva. It is related to the Laws of Attraction and the philosophy of Think and Grow Rich.

Basically you make things happen in life, heal self and others, and create wealth by meditating. Napoleon Hill stated that thought is energy. You create in life what you thoughts are mostly focusing on.

By meditating you are almost in a sleep mode. Your brain is functioning from alpha waves. When we are fully awake we are thinking with beta. According to the author, alpha waves have more of a deep impact and relationship with the outside world and things around us. If we want to heal someone's injury we focus in the "workshop" of our mind to heal while mediating. We do this by counting backwards from 100 to 1. We get in a deep alpha state and create things in our lives what we want.

I'll say that it has been awhile since doing this, but when I did I literally was able to heal my wife's aches and pains sitting in my office miles away. The author claims to have performed this practice in an isolated research setting on several different occasions proving that it works. It is documented in his books.

One of his books claims that this is what Napoleon Hill with Think and Grow Rich was taping into. Hill just didn't have it as a complete science as Silva.

Take it with a grain of salt and give it a try. It may not be for everybody, but it has worked for me.

I had registered for their seminar, but it got cancelled. So I bought the home study course. Its all about tuning into your alpha level where you will be more productive.

I practiced it for a little bit but got distracted. So I really dont have any results to show that it works.....but I still use their 3-2-1 technique.

As Amadeus said, silva works with LoA and some other concepts. Not too much different of what there is on the website except for some techniques silva teaches.
