Default re: 30 day trial: no internet , no tv , no telephone

Bascially , feel i run to the internet .. whenever i want a legitimate reason to get distracted.. !

if you can create a new habit in 30 days..there is no reason why you cant get rid of one ..

who wants to join me ? ill post up in 30 days exactly and share what changes getting off the internet has allowed me to create in my life .

i want to live a real life.. no more living thru others.

Good luck starting a 30 day no internet group on an internet forum! Seems like that's a bit of a contradiction. I'm going to go off TV permanently as soon as I move into my own apartment and escape my roommate's enormous life devouring plasma screen.

I guess you're probably gone by now so you can't read this.

Habits tend to be there for a reason, so you don't so much "get rid of them" as find another way to fulfill that reason. So, what do you have in mind to replace those things? More face-to-face contact, in place of phone/tv? More books? Adventures outdoors? Just somin to keep in mind.

Haha. This is one weird thread.

But he/she will see it at end of the 30 days.
