Sometimes I am super ignorant..... I maybe do not do something and then look back and think - Ahhh I should have done so and so in that situation. What caused me to act in the way I did versus the way I should have? Ahhh its frustrating Thing is once a moment is gone, its gone. Whatever action you chose is the action you have to live with for the rest of your life, whether big or small. |

Start a journal on this. Write down the things that you think you've done wrongly, and propose a solution the next time a similar situation arises. You should keep your journal near you at all times in case you forget the solutions. Every time you need to make a decision, ask yourself, "How important is this decision?" Give your answer based on a Likert scale: 1 - Not important at all 2 - A little important 3 - Somewhat important 4 - Very important 5 - Life changing decision Any decision that is rated 3 and above should be considered longer before being made. |

As far as I know, the only way to stop being ignorant is to know everything. In the meanwhile, you're doing the best you can with the resources you have available to you, just like me and everyone else. And you're learning with each new choice you make -- the consequences of each choice present you with an opportunity to make adjustments or corrections, and continually add the learnings of those new choices to your repertoire of wisdom. Just practice making choices that work better, and your choices will tend to work better and better. You're ok. |
