Default Best 30-day trial you ever did

I plan to do some 30-day challenges next year,so i would like to know some suggestions.
Did you ever do a 30-day trial or other significant change in life you didnīt regret?
In January 2010 I did the challenge of eating no sugar and even the following months I benefited from it.
I also plan to quit coffee, but I am not sure if it is really worthy.

Facebook detox: thirty days-indefinite. Led me to deleting my facebook page. Experienced more focus, increased joy, more productivity, less urge and tug towards people-pleasing, less desire to broadcast my life to the world.

Taking steps to lose weight. I've lost 16 kg over a few months. Educational stress broke my good habits

Just a note, you don't do a 30-day-trial because you think it WILL be worth it; you do it simply to find WHETHER it will be worth it.

Other things you could try are things that revolve around what's important to you. For me it's mostly intellectual stuff.

Some examples:

- Complete a Critical Thinking course
- Complete a Sketching course
- Increase typing speed average by 30%
- Learn about Advanced Statistics
- Learn about Consumer Behavior
- Read a 200-page book in 5 hours.
- Read two 200-page book in 5 hours
- Observe 300 individuals and note consistent body language
- Learn to lip read
- Make a new friend and find 10 most notable things about him/her.
- Learn how to beat your friends in rock-paper-scissors
- Do 100 1-finger push-ups every day
- Juggle 5 boyfriends without them knowing for 100 days.
- Learn how to off your computer using your mobile phone
- Make a rocket and challenge NASA
- Learn to walk on walls and stay there
- Learn to walk through walls
- Complete a video game
- Catch a rare pokemon in the forest
- Write an essay about the pokemon you caught in the forest
- Train your pokemon to fight zoo animals
- Make a pokeball to fit your pokemon
- Spam the B button to prevent evolution, just in case your pokemon won't fit the pokeball
- Obtain all 8 badges
- Don't forget to save

...Did I overdo it?

Hey! I am in a middle of my 30 day trial.Today was my 13th day of riding my stationary bike every day in the morning and I changed my eating habits also.
So far I have lost 3 kilos or 6,6 lbs.
I want to create a habit and consistency and to continue with my stationary bike, that was my primary goal and as you can see I lost a few pounds also.

Besides that , I am doing calisthenics few times a week. I was avoiding my stationary bike during last few months so I decided to start a 30 day trial.

My vegetarianism originally started as a 30-day trial, just to see what would happen. I was having concentration problems and a very cloudy memory, I was always sleepy and/or tired during the day.

I'm not sure if it helped at all (it had mostly to do with sleeping habits apparently), but now, 10 months later, I can't imagine eating meat.

Today I went to the market, actually wanting to go carnivore again (for gym purposes) and buy some chicken breasts, but now I find the smells unbearable and offensive for some reason.

Instead I bought 3kg of cottage cheese, 1kg of tofu and 1kg of beans. Delicious protein.

Thank you for your answers.
I have another question.
How do you keep track of your trial?Do you have a journal and do you involve friends/family?

Back in 2008 I did an innocent 30 day raw food trial
I stayed almost 100% raw for 3 years and I quit smoking (it took 7 months of being raw)
It changed my life, I became more healthy, focused and happy.
It changed a lot of my friends life too. At least two otherwise of my unhealthy friends became raw too.

Steve did his trial and it affected so many people like a domino affect.
Now Im only 80% raw, but still its always my default diet.

I think the last three are the most important ones here. Spamming the B button is vital, obtaining all 8 badges is important, and forgetting to save is the worst thing in the world. Waking up in the morning after a pokemon sesh to see a dead DS and all that nights work gone in the wind is a horrific moment that nobody should ever experience.

The easier the better. I have a piece of paper duck taped to a cupboard right to my bed. When I get up I see that today is my 14th day of the trial
After I finish with my stationary bike I write down "the 14th day : on the paper.
Also, I have an Excel file/table on my desktop where I can be more precise with the numbers /minutes etc...

Smile Waking up early

Creating new habits in 30 days is a crucial concept in changing things in our lives.

I've started waking up early!

There is a high correlation between success and rising early. The productivity increases through all the day and the feeling of well being improves exponentially.

I'm sharing all the secrets and experience on my blog. After the 3rd week I can really say that it is changing my life and I'm becoming a better human being.
