I agree somewhat with Bonadea. Who says you do them one by one? Maybe divide them up into 10 minute chunks and spread around your home. I normally have a handful of books on the go and different 'reading stations' work for different types. EG by my bedside is lightweight fiction I've read 100 times before to see me off to sleep. In my living room I have lightweight non-fiction eg management, pd etc. In my study (which is peripatetic - I'm always shifting my spaces around!) are the things that require some focus - physics, arabic). In my throne room (bathroom If I have a thick fiction to read, then during the summer I would take a chunk at a time at the pool between swimming stints. But it's got a bit cold now to linger! |
