| Project Demigod Dictionary Definition of Demigod: a person who is part mortal and part god. My definition: A person who is capable of processing information with no limits, one who possesses an eidetic memory or equivalent. The average grade of a Demigod is A* (100%, obviously) and his income is limitless. His knowledge knows no bounds and incorporates specialized knowledge pertaining to his interests and also includes information pertaining to his studies. This journal will track my progress as I transmute my desires into their physical equivalents. I was inspired by Project Ubermensch. Target #1 Generate $3,000.00 monthly prior to February 2012. Purchase xRumer 7 (+ Hrefer 3.3), ScrapeBox (my own copy), SENuke X, Sick Submitter, Linklicious.me Premium and any other tools/services I require. Rank 3 websites #1 for their Search Queries in the Search Engine Results Page. Target #2 Assimilate content for GCSE Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics and Geography prior to the fall of 2011. Assimilate content for GCE Chemistry (AS Level) and GCE Biology (AS Level) prior to February 2012. Target #3 Read 30 pages of Think and Grow Rich, Economics for Dummies, Learn More Study Less, Getting Things Done and 7 Day Speed Reading Program by Evelyn Wood every day. Apply concepts contained within those books. These include intensifying my desire to generate money and improve myself, improving my reading speed from 300-400 words per minute to at least 1000 words per minute within 1 month. Also, I must improve my retention rate from an initial reading. Target #4 Maintain the position of #1 Ranking in League Tables, annihilate other pupils academically. Attain all A* for GCSE Courses. Target #5 Become self organized (via the help of Getting Things Done) and transform myself into a logic guru (inspiration is Sadaharu Inui). Emulate my heroes, the list is composed of: Bill Gates, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Napoleon Hill, Ali Moeen Nawazish and mathboy (PhysicsForum user). Daily Activities 1. Read 30 pages of each book mentioned above. 2. Create an article and post it to website. 3. Manually create 10 backlinks every day. (.EDU and .GOV) 4. Study for 3 hours on weekdays and 6 hours on weekends. (These exclude homework time). 5. Watch an episode of Anime or other type of show. (Can watch up to 3 episodes on weekends or on holidays, provided that time has been allocated for other things.) 6. Create notes on all things important. 7. Read books and watch videos that my teacher suggested. 8. Read book on rocks and minerals. Day 0 Plan has been created. It shall be commenced tomorrow. Day 1 Accomplished : I read 30 pages of each book with the exception of Think and Grow Rich. Created an article and published it on my blog. What I have not accomplished: I have not created 10 backlinks to my website manually. As of 16:34, I have not studied. However I shall be doing precisely that until 21:00. I have not read the books that my teacher suggested. What I will do to accomplish everything tomorrow Abstain from using the computer excessively. I shall only use it for studying purposes and for my website. I shall attempt to complete tasks more quickly. |

| Day 2 Accomplished things: I studied for 4 hours. Things I have not accomplished: The rest of my daily activities. Yesterday's issue was using the computer for a prolonged period of time, today's problem was not using it enough. I was unable to read my books (which are stored in a .PDF Format) and create an article for my website. Unfortunately, time management is a difficult problem to surmount but I shall try to organize myself in a better manner tomorrow. Two chapters of my Mathematics Book was completed today, out of 33 chapters. I shall complete my book within a month, prior to the beginning of the New Year. I shall attempt to establish a better daily routine in the future days to ensure that I consistently achieve my daily targets. Last edited by Project Demigod; 12-01-2011 at 08:08 PM. |

| Day 3 Accomplished: Watched videos that my teacher told me to. Studied for 2 hours. Created an article and published it. Not accomplished: I did not read all the books, although I did read a few pages of Economics for Dummies. Unfortunately I was distracted by some anime and thus I was unable to complete the other things. Lack of time was also a factor as I only had around 30 minutes to read 30 pages from 7 books. I will manage my time better tomorrow. |

It is great to see people taking the initiative starting such an ambitious projects and it does motivate me to start something similar, however there seems to be a problem with it. I have been trying to do something similar for quite some time but failed each time and I believe the problem is setting too many goals and daily tasks. I think eventually all this activity will overwhelm you and you will give up the project. I think the best way for you is to take it slowly, just to focus on 2 or 3 goals for a few months and if you feel you are comfortable with it add some more, slowly but surely. This is just my opinion, anyway I wish you all the best in your endeavours |

| Day 4 Accomplished: I studied (not for 6 hours). I posted an article to my website today. I read pages from Think and Grow Rich and from Economics For Dummies. I watched videos that my teacher suggested. Not accomplished: I did not read all of the books I was supposed to. I did not create 10 backlinks manually (I have been creating backlinks with ScrapeBox though) and I have not read the books on Rocks and Minerals, neither have I created notes. Procrastination militated the achievement of all my daily targets. I shall seek to eradicate it tomorrow. |

Just curious, how old are you Demi? My guess is around 15-19? If you insist on having a voracious schedule, you may find the book "Refuse to Choose!" by Barbara Sher a valuable resource on handling multiple projects at a time. You may also want to find out about your MBTI personality type. More specifically, find out whether you are a Perceiver (xxxP) or a Judger (xxxJ). My hypothesis is that Perceivers are more likely to fail to adhere to a strict and voracious schedule. I have also experimented with such a schedule before. For me, it usually ended in work overload. For example, I did three A-levels in about 4-5 months. The problem wasn't the time interval for the most part. The problem was that I tried to stuff 8 hours of studying from the get-go. I have never studied consistently for 8 hours in the past before, so this clearly overwhelmed me. My second problem was estimating the time it takes to complete a task. I have a somewhat inconsistent fudge ratio of 1.4, as Steve calls it (How to Make Accurate Time Estimates). Time after time, I underestimated the tasks. With each failure, I become more and more discouraged and doubtful of my capacity. Eventually, after about 1 month, I gave up studying for 2 months, and had to rush at the last minute. It was disastrous. I regained a few kilograms of the weight I had put off in my previous efforts. I also became mentally dull for awhile. From this experience I agree with Steve that the past does determine the future (The Past DOES Equal the Future). I have never studied beyond 4 hours consistently in the past, so I believe that I have overstretched myself on this project. Now, a little wiser, I created a six-step estimation system as a support system to help me estimate more accurately the time I will actually need. I utilized a loose schedule (there is usually about 30-40% of free time blocks). My activities are determined the day before, as I do not possess the ability to create schedules for more than a few days. A loose schedule helps, because that means I wouldn't be studying 8 hours from the get-go. I will slowly but surely build up the amount of activity. So far, in conjunction with the tools from Refuse to Choose, I am very satisfied with my results. I am moving forward at a turtle's pace, but even turtles can overcome hares if they keep going. Persistence happens to be one of my strong qualities. Sorry for the long post, but I thought it would be insightful to share my experience. Last edited by Rimuel; 12-04-2011 at 03:37 AM. |

@wanzulfikri Thank you for the comment. @Rimuel I am 15 years old. Thank you for sharing your story. I understand what you mean, that an intense amount of work will result in work overload and eventually failure. However, I am determined to succeed. Making time estimates is somewhat difficult for me too, I estimated one chapter in my Mathematics book to take me 1 hour to complete, however through experience I learnt that it was taking at least 2 hours for me to complete it. I will incorporate some of your ideas. According to HumanMetrics - online relationships, personality and entrepreneur tests, personal solution center, my personality type is ISTJ. Day 5 Accomplished: I studied for a few hours. Created and published an article. Read pages from Think and Grow Rich. Not accomplished: Did not read the rest of the books. I have not watched the videos that my teacher recommended, neither have I created any backlinks to my website. Analysing the past few days reveals that I neglect reading my books, and thus I shall be placing special emphasis on it in the future. I should be receiving an Electronic Book reader soon, which will facilitate the process of reading and I will be able to read in a quiet, productive environment. |

A little advice from an intrigued observer. Your daily task list is humungous. I'd maybe ask what purpose you have for creating such a large list. There is only so much you can do in a day. Maybe weekly checklists would create some freedom and help you be more successful.

@billionairekid The purpose of creating such a large task list is for me to transform myself into the person I wish to be in the shortest period of time possible. @abcbac Mathboy is a user in a forum who studies for 12 hours every day. Although I personally would never even attempt to replicate that, the act itself is inspirational to me. @rubixmon Thank you for the comment. Day 6 Accomplished: I studied for a few hours. Published an article to my website. Read 30 pages from 2 books; Think and Grow Rich and Learn More Study Less. I intend on implementing the methods contained in the books in the weekend, after I have completed my examinations. Not accomplished: I did not read 30 pages from the other books. I read a few pages from Economics for Dummies before realizing that I had some homework to complete. I have not commented on any .EDU and .GOV Blogs, however I have been researching a few websites to comment on that could increase my website rankings. Analysis of the past few days Estimating the length of a certain activity seems to defeat me, and thus I will allocate more time to each activity I perform. For example, I spent 1 hour completing a piece of homework which I expected to complete in 30 minutes. Other things: I should be receiving an Electronic Book reader tomorrow, enhancing my reading experience and ensure that my reading speed is faster. (I currently read from my computer) My current grades are not satisfactory, thus I will concentrate more in class and implement the suggestions of my teachers. |

| Day 7 Accomplished: I revised for a few hours. Published an article. Read 30 pages from Learn More Study Less. Not accomplished: I have not created the backlinks, nor have I read the other books I was meant to. (I only read 6 or so pages from another 2 books.) Unfortunately, my Electronic Book Reader was not delivered today and it delayed my plans slightly. I have several examinations in the upcoming days, therefore I shall temporarily reduce the pages per book to 10. I shall change this back on Friday when I will have completed my examinations. |

| Day 8 & Day 9 I did not post yesterday as I was revising for my Science examinations. I finished a Biology and Physics paper today, it was somewhat challenging but I managed it. The "Project Demigod" plan is temporarily on hold until tomorrow, when my examinations are over. I shall be completing a Chemistry paper tomorrow. My Electronic Book reader has arrived and I expect to make further inroads with my reading habit. |

| Day 10 & Day 11 Examinations are finally over. I am in the process of creating a few projects, which I will unveil soon. I have been reading consistently since my Kindle has arrived. Studies are progressing well and I will receive my grades for the examinations very soon. My posts will be regular from now on. |

| Day 12 & Day 13 The consistent reading has been maintained and I have started to post to my website again. My main aim for this month will be to assimilate the content for the GCSE Courses mentioned in the first post and to practice Exam Technique. I lost several marks in my Mock Examination due to the misconstruction of the exam questions. |

| Days 14, 15, 16 These past few days have been quite eventful. I received my Mock Examination Grades, which have provided me invaluable guidance on how to prepare for my real examinations. I learnt something, Exam Technique is extremely important in GCSE Examinations. My Examination Technique was rather awful and thus I lost too many marks. The Christmas Holidays will finally commence from Saturday. It shall be a great opportunity to study and practise Exam Technique. I intend on terminating the relationship with my current investor in the upcoming days; he does not dedicate an ounce of his time or money to me, although in our initial discussions he said he would provide $100.00 for my website. A new website for the same niche shall be created and I shall ensure that it ranks #1 within the short period of time possible. The primary concern is if I will acquire the money to implement my plans, but as Napoleon Hill said, There is always plenty of capital for those who can create practical plans for using it. I have not achieved many of my daily targets in the past few days and I am rather disappointed in myself for not adhering to it. Success requires persistence, a skill which has eluded me for the past few days. I shall rectify the problem in the Christmas Holidays though; I cannot waste an hour of the 196 hours of learning time available. |

@Ubershift I want to generate money via a website selling a product. It is called Affiliate Marketing, where I promote someone else's product for a commission. I intend on ranking the website by practising the art of Search Engine Optimization. I would highly recommend that you visit BlackHatWorld and read the content there. Also, download the eBook "From Newbie to Millionaire" and read it. It explains the basics of this process very well. Unfortunately, my investor does not respond to me any more and he does not provide me with any money. Therefore, I am seeking to partner with another person. Day 17 I must say that today was primarily a day of relaxation and preparation. The only useful activity I done today was analysing the answers in an Examination Paper and understanding why I did not receive mark(s) in certain questions. From tomorrow onwards I shall dedicate myself to accomplishment of the goals. |

| Day 18 and Day 19 Progress has been made. I am constantly reading 30 pages of 3 out of the 5 books listed in the first post. I am also completing a few past examination papers a day and analysing the questions I have done wrong. Instead of reading "Think and Grow Rich", I have opted to read the book from which it was based: "Laws of Success". The latter contains a more in-depth explanation of the topics in Think and Grow Rich and it is better to read on my Kindle. In the Christmas Holidays, I intend on improving my grades for Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I also intend on assimilating the content for many of my GCSE Courses, thus partly achieving Target #2. Accumulation of money shall also be a priority. I have been engaged in the process of creating a plan in the past few days and I wish for it to manifest in the sudden future. |
