You gotta start doing something. Write down one small action step that will lead you towards your goals and start working on that. Doesnt have to be huge, anything small. Just start moving yourself in that direction.

Good advice. Once we take one small step toward our goal(s), it has a tendency to motivate us to take another ... then another. "An object in motion" at work in real life ...

Use what Barbara Sher calls the "Backward Planning Flowchart."

Prepare a piece of A4 paper, pencil and eraser. Write down a goal. Then ask, "Can I achieve this goal right now? If not, what do I need to do first?" If there is something you need to do first, write it down somewhere near your goal. Link the first goal with the second goal using a line or arrow.

Ask the same question with the second statement. If you need something else, write it down and ask the question again. Do this until you can answer 'Yes' to "Can I achieve this goal right now?"

Then make a sufficiently big arrow pointing at the last statement with the word "Now!" and start working to achieve the last statement.

Hope this helps.
