I'm not quite sure if this is the right place to put this, but this board sounds the closest so I'm writing this here. I have this idea deep in my subconscious, and I know it's the perfect idea, but I just don't know what it is yet. It almost feels like I'm playing a guessing game with myself, thinking questions like "Does it involve Youtube?" or "Will (friend's name) be a part of this?" and guessing based on the feeling I get whether it's right or not. There are three feelings I get. The feeling of satisfaction when I've guessed something right, a negative feeling when something is obviously wrong, and a weird feeling of being wrong but so close to something right. It is the latter which has frustrated me the most, especially since it's the feeling I get for almost everything I guess now. I've been at this two months and I know I'm so close to figuring it out but just missing one piece of the puzzle. Yesterday, I suddenly felt like I was so close to figuring it out. Today, I finally came up with an answer that would work perfectly, but it doesn't feel like it's really the answer I was looking for. I could go ahead with the answer I did find, but I don't know, it really feels wrong although it would fulfill all the needs the idea needs to fill. So I decided to ask about it here. If anyone knows any way to more strategically flush out the answer it would really help, or if you have any other suggestions. Although this thought of the perfect answer has only been around for two months, this has been something I've been struggling with for more than a year now. I'll try one idea, only to give up on it immediately because it just doesn't work. I can't explain this certainty in there being a perfect solution, but when telling my musically talented friend about it she told me she gets the exact same feeling when writing a song. She knows there's a perfect song in there somewhere, but the quality of the song depends on how close she is to guessing it right, and I'm determined to dig deep and find that perfect answer. |

| I just thought of something clever, so I'm going to say it even if it doesn't mean anything; no matter how deep you dig or what you uncover, you'll probably find that what you were looking for was the shovel you had the whole time.
