quest to find a purpose

i joined this forum in order to come out from a sort of darkness. i do not know much about using the computer and also i desire to find my purpose even though i have retired from active service. there is still more i can contribute to the world.

It's great that you've taken the initiative by signing up and posting here to try to discover your purpose.

I believe that all humans have certain talents and abilities in certain areas that have been hard-wired into their DNA. So it's your job to find these areas and then discover what you enjoy doing the most. (And what you enjoy doing the most is likely something that's in one of the areas you excel in.) Then, dedicate your life to it.

With that said, you're purpose is something that you should discover; not something that you all-of-a-sudden decide upon.

Ask yourself these questions:

• What do I enjoy doing the most?
• How can I help others do what they do even better?
• What are my areas of expertise and I can I use them to improve my life or the lives of others?
• Who would benefit most from learning the specialized information/knowledge that I've learned?
