The thing about personal development is that is is much broader than most would imagine. Also, much of the concepts are not new. But those who promote it all have a unique spin to them. And there is nothing wrong with this at all since different flavours appeal to different people.

I have my own which of course is influenced by my own life history so far as well as my martial arts angle. Some will find this appealing and some will not -that's okay with me.

So any startups are just different angles on the same tested concepts and maybe with a bit more tech oriented delivery systems these days.

yes, I agree with this. The more unique the spin however, the more specific the brand promise the business requires, which enables the people in the business to move ahead quickly. Checking out SpiritSentient.com for instance, you find a company that's evolved it’s brand promise over the years because of this reason.

But I think you could really amp up your brand identity
by replacing "Success-consciousness" with something
more benefit oriented.
