The best of Robbins' book is by far: "Awaken the Giant Within" ...that book will keep you busy for decades...

To be honest i am not into motivational PD stuff, i wouldn't buy a Robbins book.
But if it's free i'd like to take a look at it, to see what the fuss is about.

I am always a little afraid of whatever is free online... many times some pesky pop ups start landing on your PC... or you get spamed to death...

There is nothing interesting in this book if you are already familiar with Tonys work. It serves more as a tool for promoting Tonys seminars. You will recieve several phone call starting with asking questions about how the book was and later during the time going to the seminars selling stuff. Anyway, its your choice... there is basicaly nothing wrong about this deal.

I agree with Shamou that Awaken the Giant Within is a great read with many practical exercises to help one on their way.

I never put complete/correct data anywhere... unless it's something i intend to use for long time i.e. when i confirm and order. All the rest from marketers i consider non-reliable and potential scamers/spamers... i use gmail and for other accounts bayes filter so is someone gets on my toe i ban him/her and the similar content that he/she is producing.

I just wanted to report that it has been one month now, and I have not received the book. What I have received are 4 phone calls from an unusually loud speaking englishman trying to convince me to attend one of Tony's workshops. I also received an email obviously intended for another customer.

So, my recommendation at this point would be to buy Awaken the Giant Within (a truly helpful book), and forget the free offer since the European branch doesn't seem to follow through on their promise.

At any rate... if you put in enough time with "Awaken the Giant Within" you don't truly need anything else... it's the Bible according to Tony...

Anyone interested in NLP should definitely go for "Unlimited Power" ...but, for anyone who wants to make major changes in their lives, both should be on the "must read" list...

I got the free book quite quickly at the back end of 2005 but I did get the sales pitch for UPW too which I went to the following February.

the guy you spoke to wasn't Jamie by any chance? We did have a little falling out some time later.

Actually, the guy's name was Drew (I still had one of his messages on my voice mail).

I imagine the Tony Robbin's live experience could be valuable as you describe. AGW was indeed a great read.

It just doesn't speak well for a company when they offer something free (which I was excited to get after having enjoyed AGW), and then only deliver annoying sales phone calls and emails some which were clearly written for others who had agreed to attend Tony Robbins Europe (he wrote about my experiences with my son - I don't have any children) - and no free book. As far as I am concerned they abused the information I submitted to them and offered nothing in return. It will be my final dealing with Tony Robbins' company since there are other speakers/teachers (such as Steve, Deepak Chopra, or James Ray) from whom I can imagine receiving equal or more benefit.

Michelle... I have been very successful using Robbins' material but I also know that he is not the only game in town... the main thing is for you to find someone that you can relate too and keep on your quest for self-development...
