Default How do i develop confidence to resist doing a thing (relapsing into old habits)?

i am trying to just work on a schedule in my own time

i dont even know why i bother at times but i have never stopped trying to do this because i have made some good changes

if i dont have the confidene in doing it, then how do i even do it successfully though
i am only good at things like school and work where there is a schedule/deadlines i have to abide to (that aren't my own). but if its on my own time then? no 'strategy' will help if i dont have confidence i can do it.

i keep reading and reading into this and the deeper i go the more i think about it the more outrageous it seems

im so spontaneous

Maybe you could post your schedule and goals here and keep us updated about your progress. It may help you because forum mates would see if you succeed or not. I may be some kind of pressure that can be more than none at all.

On the other hand, I am very similar to you in this area. I am good at areas where other people set deadlines and then I need to report my progress than at areas where I set deadlines for myself...

Well, if you have Skype or U.S. phone, I'd be willing to do a session with you to help you move toward your goals. Just from another person working on more or less the same thing.
