I am staying in South Africa, every year I see employees going on strike for salary increment and blame the government about their circumstances that they are poor. I realised that most people do know how much they are worth? If you know how much you are worth, you will do something or start a business part time to increase your finances. So do you how much you are worth? |

I think that in certain jobs, salaries may be arbitrarily less than one would expect; however, to generate a higher value for how much you think you're worth, I think you must improve yourself and develop your own abilities. Then you will be the one getting promotions and pay increases. You can't stick in with the crowd; you must focus on bettering yourself and move on. This way the opportunities and higher income bracket will find its way to you! |

My worth has nothing to do with money. It transcends that. My skills and talents can be received by people or a company and repaid back in financial means if that is the agreement between us. To raise the financial reward I get, I grow myself outside the norm of those at my level and it allows me to increase my reward. I do not complain about others making more than me. I respect them and am happy for what they obtained for themselves. If I want that pay, I model the things they do that I like and grow. Since 2004 I have made my own job at the company I work for and it is a very noticeable one in the country. Anyone can do this if they find a need and fill it and promote it correctly. |

At the end of the day, we measure our worth in terms of the number of fulfilling and genuine relations that we have been blessed with. I feel like the more I do for others selflessly, the better I feel about myself. | |
