Default How have you changed/accomplished the past 10 years?

With today being the 10th anniversary of 9/11, I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone has accomplished or changes you have made over the years. One thing we have all done is found this website and we have all celebrated a milestone birthday.

I have:
*Changed jobs 3 times
*Moved homes twice in the same city
*Became an early riser
*Quit smoking and ran a marthon; along with a number of other smaller races
*Eliminated most of the negative people from my life
*Became more aware of my eating habits
*Joined Toastmasters to face my fear of public speaking
*Have developed more patience and understanding

How have you changed or what have you changed the past 10 years?

I have:

Completely eliminated my need to be led everywhere by my parents

Came to the conclusion that not all people who listen to pop music should be locked in a room playing metallica all day. Also that they have no souls.

Stoped wetting the bed completely.

Destroyed my fear that I have bled externally with white blood when I did some strange things with my... ahm... little friend. (This was seriously scary, glad that's overwith)

Got depressed and got over it.

Went through lots of school.

I still eat junk food everyday, don't excercise, don't read enough, waste lots of time on meaningless things so there's still that to change

Great question that I was actually pondering for the same reason. It can really help to put things in perspective.

*Finished my bachelor's degree
*Flew for the first time and to Vegas none the less (not much of an accomplishment, but my lack of travel experience made the later ones feel much more significant to me)
*Finished a master's degree
*Sold pretty much everything I owned and moved overseas for a job
*Met someone that I've been with for many years now
*Returned and finished another master's degree
*Moved overseas again (to a different country) to work in my dream job
*After 2 years in that job, made a jump to an entirely different industry
*Gained 70ish pounds somewhere along the way, and then lost it
*Racked up a surprising amount of debt
*Started numerous little business ventures, which have hopefully benefited me in knowledge and experience if not financially hehe
*Got my first consulting gig

Manuel has a spectacular aura aboutManuel has a spectacular aura about

In the past 15 years I have lost my sense of humor and cheerfulness, become addicted to alcohol, started to wallow in self-pity, increased my debt, moved to a living space I hate, started to eat less and less, started lying to people, started resenting beautiful women, lost my smooth talking skills and can hardly get enough work to pay my bills. Other than that I am doing great though!
