Default Other People

Have you ever noticed that when something goes terribly wrong it is always some other persons fault. Or at least that is what we tell ourselves. The reason this cop-out works so well is the fact that we can't control other peoples actions. Next time you get the opportunity to pass the blame, stop and realize that it is better to accept the situation as your own fault. You will feel better in the end. Smile

Another spin to this is that even if it is another person's fault for the bad things, it's up to us to fix it for ourselves. This is common where we often blame parents and relatives for the way we turned out. Even though it might very well be the parents that caused us to turn out less than perfect, it is up to us to accept responsibility that we are the only ones who can turn things around for ourselves.
