Default Whats your Visualization/Prayer/Meditation Routine?

Hi!

Last Sunday I decided to pray, meditate, and visualize for 3 hrs. It was a great change from the 30minutes or so I do everyday and I felt amazing afterward. I'm thinking about setting up a case study/experiment around this.

But first I'd like to know what your routines or rituals are.

1. How long and how often do you pray/visualize/meditate?

2. What was your longest p/v/m session?

3. What was the result of your session ie. How did you feel? Did your outside life change?

4. What do you p/v/m about?

I spend about 10 to 15 minutes 3 to 4 times a day in complete silence....

I visualize when I'm running and before falling asleep at night


I also like to visualize right before I do a certain task.. example.. prior to giving a talk I will visualize myself giving an excellent talk and my audience applauding!

Thanks! I'm curious, what do you visualize when you are running? I usually let my mind flow when I run and don't visualize anything specific. I may give it a try...

For a while I'd been doing mindfulness meditation right before bed (it helps me fall asleep like nothing else!), 10 min a day - but I stopped because of the rat problem. When I'm still and silent, the rats come out and scurry around. It scares the **** out of me, so I quit.
