Hi guys, I was hoping to start a thread to get some people's opinions on what are the best books on personal effectiveness. Books that really got people moving and getting things done with Discipline and Passion. I would like to start off with: The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey Feel the Fear and Do It Anyways by Susan Jeffers Last edited by CamC : 05-01-2007 at 02:51 PM.

| My new found favorite is the 4 Hour Workweek. You can find out more about this incredible book at the blog: The 4-Hour Workweek and Timothy Ferriss

I'll add one of my favorite, "As A Man Thinketh!" by James Allen. It is a timeless classic and it spoke to me when I first read it years ago and still speaks to me when I re-read it today.

I'm really a fan of one of the books you mentioned, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. I read it straight thru a couple of years ago and still find myself going back to it off and on and learning.

There's always getting things done, which is a great book for simple project management n' whatnot. And the levels described later in the book are very useful for framing thought (Runway/10,000ft/20,000ft etc).

Hi! I am new to this forum. I totally agree with The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Awaken the Giant Within. I also recommend: 7 Strategies for Wealth & Happiness by Jim Rohn Unlimited Power also by Tony Robbins The One Minute Manager by Ken Blanchard Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by Harv Eker Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill. I know a place you can get science of getting rich, think and grow rich, mastery key system and few other books for free. See www.secret-scienceofgettingrich.com.
