I love bucket lists!

How come you haven't listed any of yours yet - the magic of them is it's something that 'you' want to do! Looking forward to hearing them.

A few of mine (I have so many which would span a lot of pages so just picking a selection).
  • Cage diving with sharks
  • Sky dive in New Zealand
  • Kiss a ladyboy in Thailand
  • Ride on an elephant
  • Volunteer in Africa
  • Get a book published
  • Go to Burning Man festival
  • Dive in the barrier reef
  • Get a degree

Me too! :-) As a side note, all my friends have a past life connection to Ancient Greece.

Is it bad that I can't think of any other ones at the moment? I would like to write a book, but who doesn't, right?

The centre one is by far the most difficult one.
The last one is simple and easy. A friend of mine did it last summer. At To + 5 minutes + one day, there was a large gathering on his funeral.

Maybe you could combine these two into one awesome coming of age ritual.

That'd be the idea

Preferably the wild animal would be a shark, as I have a great fear of them and furry landwalking beasts do not phase me. However swimming after taking a powerful psychedelic may not be a wise decision.

Hmmm, how about visiting Haleakalā National Park in Hawaii?

Hiking around in extinct volcano craters FTW.

I hiked a volcano in New Zealand.... and black water rafting (cave rafting) in a glow worm cave was even more fun....

There are a couple ways to do bucket lists.... one is just a list of things to do before you die. Like something to do in the next 30- 60 years....

Another way to do it is to think if you only had 2 months to live. Then what would you do?

If I only had two months to live........

I would really want to visit Kyoto in Japan and have dinner with a geisha (or maiko who is a geisha in training)....

I love beauty and the arts..... so visiting with a woman devoted to ancient arts would be a magical experience for me. I would like to do that before I die.

Plus I would do the "dress as a geisha" tourist thing!

Geisha are meaningful to me.

(I like all feminine styles like belly dancers, ballet dancers, pin-up models, rockabilly style, etc... not just geisha, but geisha are formal ones devoted to a lifestyle of beauty.)

Interesting. It is a good approach. But I think it pertains more to prioirty. If one has only two months to live, he'll definetely go for the top prioirty. In my case, I would rather like to go slow, with the flow, with some efforts, to complete the list.

I, however, must admit that I do like your priority.

If I have to choose one thing, it would be to take rest of my life off and travel the world on a cruise liner.

Learn to ride a motor cycle. Ooooops. Did that about 25 years ago. In fact, now I am in the process of forgetting it.
