Default Early rising question

Hi folks! I have a question about early rising and how taking naps during the day could potentially interfere with it. For the past 3 days I've been waking up at 9 am, to my amazement, as I've never been able to wake up at the same time for more than 2 days without work or school. I already meditate and work out, so I'm trying to do that immediately after waking up in order to get my day off to a good start. For an extra charge for the rest of the day I've been taking a 20 minute nap at noon and slowly pushing it later and later into the day. Yesterday I woke up from my nap at 2.

However, today I woke up at 9 and, having gotten only 6 hours of sleep, felt exhausted and went back to bed for an hour at 11:30 am. Have I screwed myself up? Is implementing a habit of napping at the same time as early rising sabotaging me? What are some of your experiences with this?

You just have to find a schedule that works for you and if you try a certain schedule out, you have to stick to it. If you keep bouncing from different schedule to schedule, yes, this will mess you up a bit.

I'm up at about 7 am and do take a 30 minute nap during the early to mid afternoons on most days if I'm at home. Works fine for me.
