Default how do you get started again after a break?

i dont feel like i have much power over this but i need to bad. after a day off from working (on my own schedule) its hard to get started again immediately. i know i need breaks but if i give in to that path its like ... you know you're going to be like a crack addict again right? playing games and such?

i love games and i will never stop playing them
but how do i stop feeling out of control of stopping after i start? i must learn this somehow or i will stop taking breaks mostly. i have already become this way in fact i a bit.. its not healthy though.

thanks in advance

You need to break the pattern. I have had this experience while playing AOE. I say just one more skirmish and whoosh 2 hours go by.

Hide the games CD, remove it from your hard disk. Make the starting of the game complicated. So when the impulse strikes you, it would take too many obstacles to get started.

Prove you can stop by just stopping as soon as you have the impulse that you want to get back to work. No hesitating. Just do it! The more you do this, the more confident you will be in your ability to enjoy a little break, instead of fearing that your break will turn into an all-day gaming session. I think it's just a matter of practice, as most things are.
