Default Goal Setting Exercise,Goal Setting Exercises,And Goal Setting Worksheets

I think that goals are the lifeblood of self-esteem. When you have clear,
laid out goals set for yourself, and continually strive toward them, then self-esteem pretty much takes care of itself. That's not including certain, unavoidable hardships that we experience as part of being human though.

When starting out with an attempt at making goal setting worksheets, it is important, I feel to daydream at first and really figure out what you want to achieve in your life. Let yourself go with it and don't worry how silly it may sound, just make it a fun goal setting exercise. Write it down, then write it down again and again. The act of writing it down, is very powerful because it puts the ideas deeper into your mind.

When you have done a list of goals that you want to achieve within your lifetime, then do the same little exercise again, except this time make it something like a ten year time-frame. When doing this exercise, try and think of fun and simple ways of incorporating your longer term goals into this exercise.

The overall expectations from this exercise as a whole should be focused on starting with a HUGE time-frame with no limits. Then repeating the exercise over again, moving backward toward the present, and each step backward you want to pull a little of the bigger goals back, and implement them in a small way.

I have a more in-depth writing of this exercise if you are interested. Hopefully this can provide help with one area or another in even just one person's life.

Thank You For Reading,
Carey Herbert
