Question I need your help!!!! Please

Hi all. Many years ago (30+) my brother had a self development program which I think had 12 casette tapes. Ufortuntly my brother has passed away and I don't remember the name of the program.

One of the tapes within the program was a guided meditation tape and is what I am looking for. I think I can describe it pretty clearly here and hopethat someone knows what I am talking about or can recommend an alterative.

The tape had a male narrator guiding with music in the background. It starts with you are at the top of a staircase which he instructs you to descend stopping you every 3 steps with instructions (don't remember anything about the insructions). There are 7 stops and thus 21 steps which is why I found this site. I googled in "21 steps meditation" and this was the only response.

Anyway back to the meditation. Now that you are at the bottom of the staircase you are instructed that you see a tunnel which you will go through. As you do you see different colors which I believe respond to the 7 chakras. You first see the colors and then they surround you one at a time. Again the narrator is speaking you through this. After comng out of the tunnel you are at a bridge which you cross and come to a door of your studio. You are instructed to open the door and go inside where you see a comfortable easy chair with a large screen in front of it. You sit down in the chair and project your goal and desires up onto the screen. Again the narrator has additional things to say as you sit there and project. After a little bit you are instructed to get up and leave, cross the bridge, go througn the tunnel (one color at a time) go up the steps with stops at every 3 steps which is like coming out of hypnosis, and finally complete at the top of the staircase where you open your eyes.

The entire journey takes 20 minutes.

Anyone know what this tape is or something that might replace it? Really could use your help. Thanks.

hi there. i don't know of the tape but if you are interested in meditation, i would HIGHLY recommend you check out Vipassana Meditation Website. i took a meditation course there a few months ago and it's the best thing i've ever done.

greghrtx...

The program you have described sounds very familiar....not sure if this is the one or not. It's been such a long time I can't quite remember....

Paraliminals: Self-Help CDs and Self-Improvement Audio Programs

Good luck in your search..

Robert
