I'm looking for an accountability partner and I'm willing to be one in return.

Like the title says I need to find someone who I can email back, and forth a couple times a week. We would share our goals with each other and inform each other on progress. We would also try to motivate each other when possible. I have a couple of people in person I will use for this, but I find the people in my life don't really care about personal development, so it's hard to get them to help with this.

I haven't ever tried an accountability partner, but it seems all the great personal development guys recommend it, and it does make sense to me. I have so much trouble accomplishing some goals. I feel having someone who is also on a path of self development to share with each other would be a very positive thing, and could strongly influence, and motivate each other.

We could do this through private message here on the boards, email, or even in a thread, doesn't matter too much to me. Just someone who knows the goals I am trying to achieve, and that I have to report my progress will be great. I will do the same for you as well. So anyways who is up for it? We can settle the details like how often, and what not later.

I am looking to be an accountability partner for someone as well as one for myself. I am direct, tell it like it, and serious/productivity oriented person - do not have time if you are not serious but you just need a push and couragement to get there. That is what I am looking for, so it would be helpful if we shared mutual characteristics and needs.

Communicating by email would work for me. I presently have three goals I am working on and make it a point or try to address them every day. I would care not to share specifics about our goals/lives - keep it general.

I am looking for an accountability partner for the reasons discussed above. I also think that many personal development systems can work in theory, but ultimately we each know what we need to do to be successful and the main obstacle is ourselves. Having another person to be accountable to can help us to keep doing tasks that will move us toward our goals, as well as for the times that our motivation level isn't as high, and after setbacks.

I envision a high level of accountability that would include e-mails, Skype phone calls, even meetups if the geographical locations are near.
