| I have so much to do. So little time. My issue is how to choose what to do? First there are personal stuffs, then college assignments. Because of my past experience in a company, I have formed personal projects that I must achieve before working again. Now it's not that the college assignments are difficult, au contraire, but it takes time. As a creative darkworker, some of my projects involve writing ebooks. I've been able to write one -- something like 12 pages -- and the second one is still in introduction form. But I must be done with college in less than 4 years and at the same time earn enough money to get my gf here. I wish days are longer than 24 hours. I have even given up TV... No, I'm not feeling pressured at all. But things go way too slow for me. Here is a rough list of my daily activities: morning cardio or gym or morning revisions of courses notes (5am-7am), college courses (8am-2pm), college assignments or reading [middle of 4 programming books] (2pm-8pm), writing (8pm-10pm), sleeping (10pm-5am) I need more time for my projects. Any advice? |

| I think the challenge you have is every human's challenge. We are all given only a certain amount of time here on Earth. About your immediate need of time, morning cardio or gym or morning revisions of courses notes (5am-7am), You could try listening to audiobooks or record your courses and listen to them again while you work out. college courses (8am-2pm), Do you NEED to go to all courses? Personally I think adapting to other people's learning speeds is annoying and too timeconsuming. Think about more efficient ways of learning the same material, maybe discuss it with a teacher. If the courses aren't that intense you can do some assignments while you're there. college assignments or reading [middle of 4 programming books] (2pm-8pm), This is 6 hours of work, with the courses that's a big load of work for a normal student, 12 hours of work every workday? Are you being totally efficient here? writing (8pm-10pm) Can you touchtype? Maybe you should try to type less, or do it in the weekend. sleeping (10pm-5am) Sleep well And good luck with your goals!

| Getting Things Done? That might help you work out your priorities. Like others said, yours is a classic personal effectiveness challenge. What can you triage? What can you just not do? And the things you have to do, how can you do them more effectively? If you're not clear and focussed when you're writing essays (if you write them) then learn how to write better essays. Grab a book or two about getting good grades. You don't have to read the whole book, skim it and hten go back and read the stuff that's interesting to you on the second pass. Learn reading techniques. Speedreading, photoreading, or just follow what it says in How To Read A Book. You'll start understanding more stuff in less time. HTH.
