Default Think and Grow Rich Vs The Rest

In my opinion the various other books, websites, you name it, are just extracts from Think and Grow Rich and then expanded.

Does anyone else fee the same way?

For the most part 90% of the material is in any one book. It doesn't matter if it's TGR or The Silva Method or Psychic Development for Beginners...

That said, different books mesh well with different people. I'm glad there are so many books on the topics.

People who are at the same level of psychological development often have the same general ideas.

For instance, people who are very interested in business will often have the same ideas and thoughts about it. People interested in a sport will do this. Even drug addicts will have similar thoughts about drugs.

At each level, there are "common thoughts" that you have once you reach that level of development. So, it is expected that most people at a certain level who write books, well, they will all be similar in topic or understanding. This is why many books about business share similar ideas. Also, many PD books. Also, many other books. It is because the type of author that is attracted to that topic is generally at the same level of development (though not always!) as other authors attracted to that topic.

What books are you talking about? I recently read Think and Grow Rich, and it was indeed awesome.

I feel the same way about "Put Me In The Zoo." Why would anyone even bother to write a personal development book after that one?

I happen to like The Science of Getting Rich better than Think and Grow Rich myself. A quicker read, more streamlined, and I find the philosophy slightly more compelling, even though they are very very similar. SoGR just resonates with me more I suppose.

One of the first millionaires I ever knew socially gave me the task of reading Think and Grow Rich 100x out loud before I asked him anything else about wealth building, I swore to him on the spot that I'd read it 100x out loud before I even saw him again. To this day I haven't cracked it's pages once since then. I read it in the past. Haven't run into that millionaire again in almost 7 years.

Being a typical smarty pants know it all I told myself I'd read SoGR 100x out loud first. Just 98 more to go.
