Hey guys, i'm having a big problem lately..actually for a couple months now. I can never sleep early, i always seem to leave work to the last minute and end up sleeping past midnight. Then on the days i get work done, i go to bed but stay awake for hours since my body is so accustomed to sleeping late. I know this sounds dumb...just do your work and sleep early all the time then right? But it's really hard, idk y. Then during the days I'm dead tired. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. -Anthony |

What is exactly your problem? What would you gain from going to bed earlier? Adjusting to some sleep shedule should also help. Even when you you decide after a week that it isn't something for you, you can sleep at any time without problems.

You didn't mention how many hours of sleep you are actually getting. I have to go to sleep late otherwise I end up sleeping too much and that makes me tired all day long. So, I sleep at about 1am and wake up at 8 or 9 at the very latest. If I didn't love sleeping so much I would be much better off waking up at 7am. When I do wake up at 7am I am so much more refreshed than sleeping the extra 1-2 hours.

Does going to bad late conflict with your values? Or is your problem that you are always half asleep?
