Default For the Extremely Motivated

We just did a soft launch of a unique goal setting system that I've helped create for people who really want to take massive action on their BHAGs.

Our team is committed to making it as useful as possible. In that spirit, if you have a moment, we'd really appreciate your honest feedback.

The web site is JourneyPage - Home.

Have not tried it, but looked at it for a minute. I like the idea of giving your money to a charity if you dont reach your goal.... but does it let you have other people decide if you have reached your goal? Like you can get two close, but not too close friends that will determine if you have reached your goal. Then that way they'll have a reason to keep an interest in it and to keep buggin you, and they could promise you they wont let you get your money back unless you do reach your goal.

That way you can't just bum out and say, well I did not reach my goal because of x... and it really was not my fault so I'll just say that I reached my goal so that I can get my money back.

If it does, then cool, i'll sign up and give it a try.

I like that idea, and I've thought about it. The only problem is it could get complicated if the person is with a bad accountability partner, and they try to fight what their partner thinks. Do you see this as a big problem?

It is set up now so that the person putting the money down can get it back whenever they want. However, when they do, all of their friends will be notified. So, if they didn't actually complete the challenge, it may make them look bad.

What do you think?
