I'll be honest with you, I never had a high regard for the Islam. Probably because I don't know a lot about it.

This quote shows that the core of the religion understands life, I can relate to it. It seems I've been looking at the outside to much instead of the inside, thank you for sharing that.

Do you understand what I mean?

Thanks for being honest it is ok we as muslims know that there are unfortunately many myths regarding our religion even among us and this make it difficult for some muslims to understand the religion so what would be the case for others .

Yup this quote shows that you need to work hard to achieve your goals in other words "nothing worth having comes easy" ... in general Islam says that the core of Islam is how you communicate with others and how you treat all people ... this is another quote by prophet mohammed ...

Yes thats very unfortunate for sure, its the same with many religions I'm affraid. People that practice them project there own problems onto them and twist it into something else.

The more I discover about each religion the more I think that every religions core message is one of peace and communication. How interesting that we managed to twist the message so effectively...

Yes exactly, I have been basing it upon clothing/media and talk from other people. Lately I've been making efforts to try to understand the core message and looking past the 'fluff'. This doesn't mean I agree with a lot of things religion stands for but I start to understand why they are doing it.

No problem and thank you for sharing as well. Wait I think I already mentioned that, well I guess it doesn't hurt to say twice.

haha awesome, kinda interesting that christianity is much more closed minded. I don't think a lot of us would admit that most people are doing this. haha guess I projected that onto muslims as well.

Yeah indeed, perhaps a better idea to take this towards a private chat and not bother the forum any longer?

"When you do things with limited beliefs, they manifest limited results"
-Kenny Werner, Jazz Piano player

I really like this quote, and it had a huge effect on me becuase I read this WAY before I had even heard of about Intention Manifestation or LoA.

One of my favorite quotes from Abraham Maslow is, “A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself.”

Also from Maslow: "The story of the human race is the story of men and women selling themselves short."

"Why do we fall Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up again." -Batman Begins

"We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way." -Victor Frankl

"Life's a joke. Take it too seriously and the joke's on you!" -Anon.

I am a Carl Roger's fan I really like is by him.

"Yet the paradoxical aspect of my experience is that the more I am simply willing to be myself, in all this complexity of life and the more I am willing to understand and accept the realities in myself and in the other person, the more change seems to be stirred up.
It is a very paradoxical thing - that to the degree that each one of us is willing to be himself, then he finds not only himself changing; but he finds the other people to whom he relates are also changing"
