Steve Pavlina's latest facebook post is "Goals and intentions are formed from nouns, verbs, and prepositions. Adjectives are wishful thinking." I was wondering, I want to set a goal for a new job, but money itself doesn't mean everything to me, but more, how interesting the job is, and how enjoyable it is. etc. So is it possible to set emotion based goals moreso than noun based goals? Or I guess then it's subjective in how you measure it.. What does everyone think? |
