This website will be about weight loss as well as overcoming Binge Eating Disorder/ Bulimia/ Emotional Eating Awhile ago I came up with the name "access easy weight loss" which I titled a blog as well as the YouTube channel... I first created a twitter account called "binge eating" which I abandoned in favor of the twitter account I called "eweightloss" but now that i think about it, "access easy weight loss" sucks right? It's too long and unmemorable I think. So help me brainstorm some new ideas for a website name?? Don't worry about checking if the website name is already taken just brainstorm whatever you can think of for now! ^ ^ I'll check later. OR if you see a brainstormed Idea you like just post that one again. Thank you so much <3 My brainstorming: edweightloss bedweightloss thinandhappy thinandwell thinandhealthy loseweightandbehappy positiveweight positiveweightloss healthymindthinbody wellmindthinbody thinbodyhealthymind thinbodyhappymind thinandsane eatingdisorderfree freebodyfreemind thinandedfree edfreeandthin weightandedgone nomorebingeing binginggone edgone eatingwellweighingwell eatthinbethin eathealthyweighhealthy loseyouredandlosetheweight eweightlossandedhelp befreefromyoured beingfreefrommyed befreeweighhappy befreethinandhappy freehappythin freehealthyhappythin freehealthythin thinfreehappy thinfreeandhappy easythinhealthymind freemindfreebody sexymindsexybody sexybodysexymind hotbodyhappymind hotbodyhealthymind weightlossselfhelp binginggoneweightgone overcomebinging overcomingbingeing fatfreeedfree slimandsoothed comfortingthin soothingthin nurturingthin growingthin believinginmybody thinbodycomfortedmind comfortedmindthinbody soothedmindslimbody slimbodysoothedmind slimspirit spiritslim soothedspiritslimsoul soothedandslim slimsexyandsoothed sexyslimandsoothed becalmloseweight becalmbethin relievedandslim relievedandthin thinandenough slimandenough slimbodysweetmind slimbodysweetsoul slimbodysatisfiedmind slimbodysatisfiedsoul satisfiedspirit satisfiedsoul relaxandloseweight bingeeatingrelied bedrelief nourishedmindthinbody nourishedmindslimbody supportedmindslimbody thinkthin thinkslim mentalweightloss mindweightloss reslizethin realizeslim slimthinking thinthinking soothingslim thinkingthin caloriecomfort comfortupweightdown peacefulpoundloss peaceandpoundloss weightlosswellbeing wellbeingandweightloss weightlossandwellbeing slimandsound slimandsnug slimsupport slimsolace slimbodystrongmind strongmindslimbody slimbodystrongthinking strongthinkingslimbody slimstrength simpleslim nosweatslim slimsimple slimbodycurvymind slimbodybigspirit slimbodycurvyspirit slimbodycurvysoul weightlosstherapy weightlosspyschology eatcomfortlooseweight eatcomfort Last edited by roxyruby; 11-03-2010 at 02:43 AM. |

I think the idea in itself is lovely, but are you sure this is the ideal time for you to tell others how to have something you do not have? Anyway, I like "healthy mind and body" kind of title

I love *slimsimple* in your list a lot. It's catchy, easy to remember and have nice keywords in it Some idea I came up with: # justfood # simplefood # easyfood # simpleeating # lovelyfood # diet&health # lovelyhealthy # eating&living # livelight # lighthabit # slimhabit # habitslim # eat&smile # eat, live and smile # eatforhealth # slimproject |

If you switched it to eating disorders/weight loss, you could go with the website, "Binge and Purge"! Man I'm helpful. <serious> I'd focus on one or the other. Create one website, build it up and move onto the other. </serious> |

And whatever name you decide to use later, I think after all it's just a label, pls pick a cool one ASAP and get yr site start rolling, the world is waiting for your lovely project I had experienced food disorder myself in the past and it took me yrs to walk out of it, live a healthier & lighter life again. And I believe if you can help others conquer the problem for less time with less effort it would be really awesome^^ Keep r'cking, *roxyruby* |

@roxyruby, it's not uncommon for people to try to help others who have the same issues they do, but I don't know how helpful you can be, given that you seem to have both an eating disorder and a skewed body image. How do you help people work through stuff if you haven't come out the other side yourself?

The interesting thing is that people who aren't very successful at what they teach can actually be much smarter at it than people who are successful at it. For instance, a fat guy can be much smarter at building muscle than someone who is very muscular. Also, can someone who hasn't lived to 100 years teach other people how to maximize their chances of living that long?

Steve said once that many more people need help with beginner-level concepts than expert-level concepts, so you don't have to be an expert at something to provide value to others. I like the names with "light" in them, kind of a double meaning. lightentheload livelight lightlife eatforlight foodielight / foodelight |

The point is, will other people take her website seriously when she is still struggling with an eating disorder? It's not about whether she knows enough...it's all about credibility! Just because you find her plight credible because she has shared that books have been read, doesn't mean the whole market of people RR will be aiming at will! Most people who start these sort of websites have had the experience of, for example, escaping a Narcisisstic, abusive partner, say. The person comes from a position of having already wrestled his/her demons and come out the other end...not still wrestling with them and making herself the authority on the subject (I'm not saying this is what you are doing either RR). See what I mean? Believe me, I'd be happy if RR proved me wrong here...really! Last edited by elucidate; 11-03-2010 at 12:46 PM.

| I wondered that myself earlier. I think there is some denial there, my personal oppinion, and a desire to be a spokesperson who receives lots of praise for helping others and a sense of being valued for that...nothing wrong with that, of course, as long as the person in that position knows where he/she stands amongst it all...as a person who has an eating disorder.

Will this decrease her chances of a successful website? Very likely. But to say that she shouldn't start it (which was the impression I got from most of you) is hypocrite. Do I make sense?
