Default Your favorite motivation tool

Hi, everyone !

Can you share your favorite tool ?

I haven't found one, that works for me yet.
Concentrating on the benefits of end result doesn't work for me.

Ideally I'd like to reprogram my subconscious so that I love the process, not only result.

well, my current favourite is quantum jumping. I finished listening to the course about a week ago and I think it is a good tool for motivation.

Default Unmotivating tool: Quantum Jumping

Frankly I'm very dissapointed
Author excels in only one thing: aggressive sales page.
Product itself consists of well known NLP techniques and quasi scientific BS.

Definitely not worth 97$.

You could try making the process more interesting and take less time, by setting up a goal time to complete it by.

I'm trying to get clear about your challenge. You want to find a way to program your subconscious mind so you like the process. By process do you mean doing whatever it is you're doing to reach a goal? Is it a particular goal or all goals?

I kicked around this idea for a while and came up with a nifty solution. When you get inspired to do anything, you have an initial burst of motivation. The trick is to use that initial motivation to carry you the whole way.
I love throwing in examples of what I mean so here goes...

Saving for an iPad - this motivation died fast. I'm talking within days. But that's ok! Cause I set up an automatic transfer and now I'm getting a free ride. No motivation needed.

Eating more fruit and packing a lunch - call this a perpetual motivation machine. The motivation is in a constant state of renewal. The two goals compliment each other nicely, each and every day. I feel good because I eat more fruit, providing more energy to pack a lunch at night which saves me time in the morning and makes me want to eat more fruit.

My motto is "Work smarter, not harder". The key here is to take that initial motivation and set it up so it's easy as pie. I don't think you'll find a better system than that. Even better, it's free.

Motivation for me has always come from starting the process or actually doing something. Having that feeling that I am underway towards my goal, or that I have committed to it, usually gets me going.

Are the end results you seek too far off in the distance? Perhaps making your goals shorter-term would make you more inclined to get stoked about them?

And also, if your goal is something that doesn't get you all that excited...are you completely sure that this is something you really want?

Our biggest goals should be something that haunt our dreams, never far from our minds...

Perhaps you should revisit the initial motivations you have for wanting to achieve your goals.
