Smile what would make you feel COMPLETE?

If all your life, you wanted for something that would complete you and make you satisfied and content.... what would it be?

If I was to only pick one thing, it would be having 5 children. I only have 1 at the moment.

I would be overjoyed to have even one at this point.

But would that make me complete? I guess I could say that it would make me complete for where I am at in life right now. It would fulfill, to use Angela's words "my heart's desire". Once that was fulfilled, I think I would move on to the next stages of life, and other things would probably come up. So maybe we are never complete. There's always a new piece of us that can be constructed.

For me, choosing is all it takes. Choosing to feel complete, satisfied, fulfilled, and content. That's all.

Nothing, absolutely nothing can make me feel complete. I'll never be complete. However, I need very little to be content. Satisfied - fully never.

Well, it was just one thing. There are others

When it's right for you to have children, then it's the best thing you can do. If the time isn't right, it will just be a noose around your neck. There is no off button, especially in the beginning.

I will feel a lot more control when I've built up my part-time business to the point where I can leave my full-time job.

I'm absolutely sick of being an employee.

I hate corporate life, office politics, and all the pomposity & self-importance of all the rats gnawing their way up the corporate ladder -- all the while crapping on the other rats' heads.

I'll have to re-read this excellent post in Steve's blog:

10 Reasons You Should Never Get a Job

As for now, I'll print off a PDF copy of that post, put it on my USB memory stick and read it tonight during a quiet time in my job tonight.

Love!

I don't think I could ever handle being complete. When my dad retired as a engineer, he ended up working at the airport. He said that you should always be working. From how many times he would always tell me, "I'm not useless," I always thought it was because of his fear of being so.

Right now, I'm not working. I haven't been at work for awhile. I know this seems off in a tangent, but I'm getting to a point. I still do the job search, but my life is focused around my writing now and more importantly my blog. Writing does complete some of me. It does. But I would need to work. If I could stop working for the rest of my life, I'd probably find a job at a bakery or a flower shop where I could be social and work with my hands 4 hours a day. I just want that part of me to be filled.

I choose love even though i know it's a broad and obvious answer. But if someone asked me this and my life depended on it. I would definitely choose love.

Well, I used to think a good woman as a companion would make me feel complete, but as time passes, and I surrender more of my fears and desires, I realize ever more that I already am complete.

I don't thing that is corny at all. I know they say you have to learn to love yourself and not look for love outside yourself you have to have self love but if you never felt anyone has ever love you I don't see how that is possible.

There has been a couple of times where I felt love and all the fear and stress left my body and I felt peaceful and contented and safe.
