I'm looking for work from home jobs before I get my blog up and running. I'm hoping it's something interesting, like writing for someone else's blog. I also hope it pays enough to get an apartment.

Do you all have any work from home ideas?

Until you become an expert at what you do and accepted by the mainstream, I don't think there is ONE way to make money from home. I recommend brainstorming and listing 100 ways to make money from home. Use google to find unique ideas and use your imagination.

Personally, I blog, invest, take advantage of arbitrage in the stock market, write advertisements, and buy and sell things over the internet. I also take advantage of freebies on the internet and brainstorm on how to make money from those.

Brainstorming really is the key.... once you start listing things and start getting to around 50 to 100 things, your imagination goes off the map and finds extraordinary things you would never typically think of.

Your competing against a lot of other people from other countries who offer to work for peanuts. So I do not see this as viable.

If you have skills at creative writing then I would do some local networking with businesses, who would be interested in that, many businesses need help as they generally don't have a dedicated person who can help with marketing material, press releases etc.
