Default Organizing a personal journal

Hi there.

I've been using journaling software (MacJournal) for a few years now and am in the process of re-organizing my entries to gain more simplicity and clarity.

For those of you that use a digital journal, what have you found to be the most effective way of organising your entries? Do you categorize them?

Love, Windsor.

I actually have an entire personal message board system at netboards.org.

I pay $5 a month for it, but it can also be free.. I pay for it because since I'm the only one using it and it's completely private I didn't want them to shut me down for not generating advertising income... The free service has advertising on it while the pay one does not.

But it's very well organized... I have categories like Tech Corner, Time Management, Body Works, etc and each forum has dozens of threads... I have over 3,000 posts on it. I love it.

Also if I change my mind about something I can delete that thread or forum very easily, so the entire message board stays current with where I am in life.

Although it is private, I'm sure the administrators at netboards could read my posts, so I also have a private handwritten journal at home for more sensitive ideas. But overall, I use netboards for planning and organizing my thoughts.
