Default Strategic life planning...

I was wondering what you guys think about strategic life planning. I think you can't truly work out a true plan without first developing some sort of definite philosophy of life. That's why I'm trying to decide if I should instead concentrate on getting to a position of relative wealth, and then develop my own philosophy of life. What do you guys think? I guess a good analogy would be being at the base of a mountain, sorounded by trees, once out of the trees, you can see the top of the mountain.

Developing a philosophy of life is not something that you get finished.

You should develop start devloping a plan today. If you can make a better plan in a year than alter your plan.

I don't have a particular plan for the rest of my life ready, just a general direction where I want to go. Works for me if I combine it with more short term goals...

I think you can have a career plan but it is difficult to do a strategic life planning. The beauty of life lies in its uncertainity...
