Default Learn to be lucky

This is an old but still valid and relevant article that sheds some light on how our own perceptions and preconceptions get in our way:

Be lucky - it's an easy skill to learn - Telegraph

If someone has an unlucky attitude they can't just think themselves out of it. But they can do altruistic acts. Hindus, Buddhists and Scientologists like Tom Cruise and John Travolta believe n karma. Jesus taught that as you sow, so shall you reap and treat others as you would want to be treated.

Sometimes I stare at people. My friend, George never stares at anyone. Why? He does not want anyone to stare at him. I do not mind people staring at me.

Well, becoming aware of your habits in the first place is a good first step to work towards altering your mindset.

And it CAN be done.

In the end, it can't hurt to inspire some thinking about this article. See it as a reality check for your attitude.

speaking of preconceptions, each time I see this thread I think it says, "Learn to be yucky."

"Lucky" and "unlucky" is just a matter of perception, actually. Switch the perception - and your life will change, that's how I see it at least.

Thanks for posting this. So... it is saying that lucky people are flexible, yes? I can look back at many situations that I could have handled a thousand times better if only I had stayed relaxed.

Thats a very interesting read. Theres a saying that goes "No victor believes in luck" and I guess that is accurate in a way.
