Perhaps the question of how to overcome procratination is the problem of procrastination. If we see procrastination as something to be overcome then will we not always be either procrastinating or not procrastinating? Is it not that with procrastination we want to avoid it entirely rather than move between it and its opposite? If we take pleasure or satisfaction in not procrastinating will we take pain or dissatisfaction in procrastinating? I think that the 'career' or activity that I am suited to could be thinking and writing. Now, maybe procrastination is my stock and trade. Maybe, rather than overcoming procrasination by thinking and writing about something else that I 'ought' to be writing about, I would get along better if I thought and wrote about procrastination. |

Well that could be quite an interesting solution to your procrastination problem. But oftentimes really it is our own choice to be lingering much on procrastinating. It's the attitude towards it that should be improved and be made positive. Well that's just my opinion. |
