Lightbulb A quick exercise for creating inspiration

All,

I've just been updating my Blog and was in a very dark mood. Money has been really tight recently and my career is totally unfulfilling. The bills are stacking up and I was really feeling sorry for myself.

But during the process of writing a page for my Blog a transformation happened and I am feeling much more positive and back on track.

I had no real inspiration today but had set a goal of at least one post a day for the first 3 months of this new project so sat down at my PC and stared at a blank page - I'm sure you've been here too

As nothing positive was coming through I decided that rather than have a blank piece of paper I'd try spilling out my feelings to see if that would clear my mind.

Throughout the course of the piece my mood lifted and I was typing answers to my own problems.

If you are ever down and feeling low have a go at this and see what comes through - I'd be interested to read the results.

And if any of you can give advice on writing a good CV - please drop me a line.

Take care, keep smiling, search for truth, be the change.

Hey Damian

I'd like to say thanks for your post. This morning, I too was feeling a bit down. Mainly because of situations along the same line as yours. Now though I'm feeling much more positive and intend to keep going on the up

I don't know much about blogs and had no real experience of this until uncovering this site and it's opened a whole new area for me. There's a lot to learn for me and I'm going to.

I have some thoughts on good CVs so if you really want them let me know.

Keep smiling

Red face Mind dump and CV

Every morning I write 3 pages long hand in a total mind dump way. It has helped my mood, it has helped my creativity and it has even helped my body. I also write an affirmation at least 10 times.

As for CV writing, I suggest a resume writing class. Often unemployment centers will have them. Or spend the bit of money it takes to get one professionally done. They know all sorts of ways to make even the worst of your credentials look good.

It's always good when someone makes a connection with what you send out and I'm happy that you feel better. Thanks for the thanks.

Your thoughts on CV's are very welcome - send them over by replying to this post or send me a PM.
