I like that post below about quiting PD. I've been a PD addict all my adult life. My bookcase is full of PD books and I've seen some very awesome things happen in my life by using the techniques I've learned and I'm still learning and achieving. The hardest part of being a PD addict is sifting through all the information. Just when you think you've seen everything ever written about PD and you think you know it all, you find something inspiring. I thought I knew it all, then I found Steve's site and through his podcast learned about the power of now, I also learned about SR and fell for it and then realised it wasn't for me. Of course I've also found some of Steve's stuff to be complete BS like the 100,000 words on polarity. I've often thought about ceasing the visitations to the PD sites I like, because I started to think that it was just wasting too much time and filling my head with too much info. Then I realised something. I have to stay involved, (for me) it's too important not to keep learning. I may just miss something that could change everything. On the SR side, it's like every PD word is from me as I guide myself through this reality, it's like I need myself to be educating me to make it through. I didn't post this below, because I like to be on top My name is Jeff and I'm a PD addict. PS I got so drunk once and I was really pissed off about life and I remember looking in the mirror and saying out loud...don't make me kill you!! I have no idea what that means, but I have to go now and have my weekly seesion with Dr. J. Daniels Now I'm a senior do I get a badge in the mail??

Here's a little trick for you. Don't overwhelm yourself with 1,000 PD ideas at a time. Just pick one. Then say, "I will try this idea for the next _____ [days]/[weeks]/[months]." If it works for you, make it a part of your life. If it doesn't, dump it and move on. Remember - there will always be enough PD books, courses, DVDs, CDs and websites out there. When you need more ideas, you will find them. Meanwhile go play with those that you've already got.

Very true, try as much as feels good and stick with the stuff that works. I lost the passion for SR when I realised I don't want to be God. But I'm really getting into present moment awareness and discarding any ties to the past and future, it eally helps me focus. What's right for you probably won't be right for me, we're all different, metaphorically speaking. Jeff
